From EV6 test vehicles. The pouch cells sit in the lower half of the module and are delicate, so it is handled by the case, never by the cells.
Build with a battery management system
Lithium cells pushed outside their voltage or temperature limits can fail violently. Whatever this goes into needs a BMS watching every cell group, and fusing sized to the module. Never mix chemistries in one string, and handle the module by its case. Before you build with lithium.
