The 36 vehicle photographs on this site that carry a Creative Commons licence, with the photographer named and the licence linked. Last updated September 27, 2026.
Where these photographs come from
The vehicles pictured across this site are photographed by other people and published on Wikimedia Commons. We use them under the licences their photographers chose. Nothing here is a photograph of a customer's car, of a pack we built, or of our own workshop — where a photograph illustrates a model, it illustrates the model, and the page says which generation is shown.
Most of the library is public domain or released under CC0, which asks for nothing in return. The photographs listed below are not: they are under CC BY or CC BY-SA, and both licences grant the right to publish the image on the condition that the photographer is credited and the licence identified wherever it is used. That is what this page is. The same credit also appears beside the large photograph on each vehicle's own page; this page covers the thumbnails in our catalogue grids as well, and gives every credit in one place.
A credit here is not an endorsement. None of these photographers has any connection to Healthy Hybrid Battery Repair, and none of them has said anything about our work. Neither CC BY nor CC BY-SA implies any of that, and we are not claiming it.
The licences in use
Each licence below links to its deed — the licence itself, in the words that actually bind us, rather than our summary of it.
The difference that matters to a reader: CC BY requires attribution. CC BY-SA requires attribution and also requires that anyone redistributing a modified version of the photograph releases it under the same licence. Several of ours are cropped — to remove a dealer's plate frame, a bystander or a neighbouring car — and where the original is CC BY-SA, the crop carries the same licence as the original and may be reused on those terms.

Photographs that need no credit
The rest of the vehicle photographs on this site are in the public domain or released under CC0, and neither asks to be credited. We list the source in our code anyway, because knowing where a photograph came from is how the next person checks it is the car it claims to be. The largest single contributor is IFCAR, whose US-market vehicle photographs are released into the public domain; others come from the US Department of Energy and from individual photographers who chose CC0.
If a photograph of yours is here
If you took one of these and the credit is wrong, incomplete, or you would like it worded differently — or if you would rather we stopped using it — email info@healthy-hybrid.com or call 623-323-0737. We will correct it or take the image down. Attribution that is wrong is no better than attribution that is missing, and we would rather hear about it than have it stand.
The illustrations elsewhere on this site — the ones on blog posts — are not photographs and are not credited here. They are illustrative images, they are not pictures of our own work, and the pages carrying them say so.
