Shipping

• Free to any address in the contiguous United States (the lower 48) — business or residential. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, PO boxes and addresses outside the US are quoted before you order.
• Orders ship within 1–2 business days of your VIN being confirmed, and typically arrive 3–7 business days later.
• A complete pack is heavy — a Prius pack is around 120 lb — so it travels on a pallet by freight. The carrier calls to book the delivery, and somebody needs to be there to sign.
• Hybrid modules ship by ground in individual protective packaging.
• Lithium EV modules and cells are regulated as dangerous goods and ship by ground only. The few large EV modules that have to travel by freight say so on their page, and the delivery cost is quoted before you pay.

When it arrives

Look at the pallet or box before you sign. If anything is damaged, write it on the delivery receipt, photograph it, and tell us within 5 days. We deal with the carrier and send a replacement at no cost to you — a clean signature on a damaged delivery is what makes a freight claim hard, so the note on the receipt matters.

The core charge

Your old pack is worth something — it is where the modules for the next rebuild come from. So a refundable $500 core deposit is added to every complete pack, and refunded when the old one comes back.

• You have 30 days from delivery to send the old pack back.
• We send a prepaid return label. The packaging and pallet your new pack arrived on are what the old one goes back on.
• The deposit is refunded to your original payment within 5 business days of the core arriving.
• The core has to be the same type of pack, complete, and not opened, burned or flooded. A core that is not, or that does not arrive, keeps its deposit.
• No core charge on modules or cells, and none on packs we install in Phoenix — we keep the old one.

Returns

• Return anything within 30 days of delivery if it has not been installed.
• Unopened: a full refund. Opened but not installed: a 20% restocking fee, because an opened pack has to be re-tested before it can be sold again.
• You pay the return shipping unless we sent the wrong item or it arrived damaged — then we pay it.
• Refunds go back to your original payment within 5 business days of the return arriving and being checked.
• Anything that has been installed is covered by the warranty instead — see below.

Coverage starts on the day the item is delivered. Not prorated. A covered failure in the last month is replaced exactly as it would be in the first. Full warranty terms, and how a claim works.

Getting it fitted

We fit packs at our Phoenix shop and mobile across the valley. Anywhere else, any competent independent shop can do it — most hybrid packs are a two to three hour job — and call us before you book one: we will tell you what to ask them.
