What it’s worth
It depends on how many modules still hold capacity, which we cannot know until the pack is on the bench. A Prius pack with mostly healthy modules is worth several times one that has been sitting flat for two years. We quote a range up front and confirm after testing — and if the number changes, we tell you before we do anything.
Why we want it: every rebuilt pack we sell is built from modules that came out of another pack. Buying cores from owners directly is the cheapest supply there is, which is why we would rather pay you than pay a broker.
Even if it’s not worth anything
We will still take it. A hybrid pack is hazardous waste and should not go in a skip or a landfill — everything we cannot use goes to a licensed recycler. There is no charge for dropping one off.
