The 2012–2014 RAV4 EV ran on a battery pack built by Tesla from small cylindrical cells, and its modules are a common source of those cells for conversions and storage.
Build with a battery management system
Lithium cells pushed outside their voltage or temperature limits can fail violently. Whatever this goes into needs a BMS watching every cell group, and fusing sized to the module. Never mix chemistries in one string, and handle the module by its case. Before you build with lithium.
