The second-generation Sonata and Optima Hybrid pack keeps the nine-module layout, and Hyundai catalogues the module on its own as part 37512-G0000 — nine per car — so this is one of the few lithium hybrid packs the manufacturer itself treats as module-serviceable. The whole pack is a little over five thousand dollars new, which is why finding the one bad module is worth the bench time.
How this module is tested
- Charged and discharged five times on the bench, with capacity measured across every cycle.
- Graded on that measured capacity — and we tell you the grade. A module that passes one test and fades on the next does not leave the bench.
- Matched against your VIN before it ships, so the module is right for your pack rather than just your model name.
One module is not always the fix
If the rest of your pack has aged, replacing the module that failed first buys weeks, not years. Measure the others before you order. When single modules make sense.
