Is the Escape Hybrid pack the same as a Mariner or Tribute?

Yes — the Escape, Mariner and Tribute hybrids share one 330V pack. Part numbers are still confirmed against your VIN.

My Escape Hybrid has P0A81. Do I need a battery?

P0A81 is the hybrid battery cooling fan circuit, not the pack. Fix that first — a pack that isn't being cooled through an Arizona summer will not last.
