Is the NX 300h battery the same as a RAV4 Hybrid battery?

The NX 300h uses the same 34-module, 244.8V module as the 2016–2018 RAV4 Hybrid and the Camry Hybrid of that era. The assembly and part number are still confirmed against your VIN.

Why does the cooling intake matter so much on an NX?

The pack is cooled by cabin air drawn from a vent in the rear seat area. If cargo or a car seat blocks it, the pack runs hotter, and heat is what ages these batteries.
