Nickel-metal hydride packs only. The fourth-generation Prius was built with either a NiMH or a lithium-ion pack depending on trim, and this module fits only the first. The VIN tells us which one your car has, which is why we ask for it before anything ships.
How this module is tested
- Charged and discharged five times on the bench, with capacity measured across every cycle.
- Graded on that measured capacity — and we tell you the grade. A module that passes one test and fades on the next does not leave the bench.
- Matched against your VIN before it ships, so the module is right for your pack rather than just your model name.
