Dodge Durango Hybrid Battery Replacement

Codes that show up on the Dodge Durango Hybrid

If a scanner has given you a code, start here. None of them is an instruction to buy a battery — each page says what the code means, what else causes it, and what a proper diagnosis checks.

• P0BBDP0BBD reports that the difference in voltage between modules in the high-voltage pack has gone past what the system tolerates. This page is about the GM two-mode hybrids — the Tahoe, Yukon, Silverado, Sierra and Escalade — and the Chrysler Aspen and Dodge Durango Hybrid, which are the same GM system wearing a different badge. Imbalance is not the same thing as a dead pack: it can come from genuine module wear, but it can equally come from a loose or corroded connection making one module look far worse than it is. At this age both are common, and this is one of the few packs in our catalogue we can genuinely rebuild a module at a time. Jeep 4xe owners want the Jeep page instead — the code number is shared and almost nothing else is.
