• P0A81P0A81 is defined as Hybrid Battery Pack Cooling Fan 1 Control Circuit / Open. The control module commanded the cooling fan and did not get the response it expected. This is not a battery failure code — the pack may be perfectly healthy today. It is, however, the fastest way to create a battery failure code, because a pack that cannot shed heat ages quickly.
