P0A0F: engine failed to start — usually not the battery
It has a P0A prefix, so people hear "hybrid battery". Toyota's repair manual sends the technician to the engine codes first, and that is usually where it ends.

P3000 on a Toyota or Lexus: read the sub-code first
Toyota's own service bulletin says not to diagnose P3000/123 at all — it is a companion code. The sub-code stored with it is the one that names the fault.
